Character Story 5: A Holiday by the Seaside

Scene: A beach.

Rei has brought Yuuki to the seaside.

We came at the perfect time. Then, let's begin right away.

Yuuki draws his sword.

Rei
...? Why did you draw your sword?

Here, I prepared a fishing rod for you. Hurry, get ready.

Rei
... Obviously, we're here to go fishing, you know...? Did you think this was for training?

Rei
Even I have times when I want to take a break. You do, too, right?

Rei
Just for today, let's forget about training and take it easy. Everyone needs to have days like this every so often.

W-What!? You fished up a monster!?

Yuuki

Monster
Roooaar!

Rei
Well done. Your movements have gotten a lot more skillful.

Rei
... But I guess we should stop fishing for today. If monsters are here, then fish aren't going to come here for a while.

Rei
And we couldn't even catch a single one...

But, well, days like these are what makes fishing interesting.
